I officially hate that show. I've seen them soak hundreds of farters in cold water, and all kinds of cruel things to reptiles to scare people. But last night was freaking crazy.

They had some lame game with a plexi glass box where you have to slide disks up the wall, around geckos, and moving snakes. It was downright stupid. They used over 600 geckos, and 30 snakes and boas! I saw bci, retics, and an albino burm. And the glimpse of a pattern I got makes me think they had bp's.

Needless to say for the geckos they used mostly massive tokays and a few goldens. Tokays being the cheapest and meanest of the large geckos.

That show is sos stupid now...

LOL! That's a good one. To date though, they've only soaked a few dozen farters.....and way too many garters... (And you're right...it's a truly stupid show!)

I was wondering what farters was supposed to be. As a non-watcher, I thought maybe it was people who'd been fed beans, or dogs who'd had ham.

    Finally!

You know I always wondered about that too, when they'd have snakes and such in huge quantities. I'm sure there are legal issues that they go through to be able to do that such as having a certified professional with the snakes or some kind of monitor from the EPA or whatever similar organization that regulates the use of animals for entertainment purposes. If they were breaking a law or had broken a law, you know that the animal rights people would have been all over that by now...

They don't have to break a law for it to be unkind, unwise, or unreasonable treatment of the animals, and animal rights folks mostly focus on furry fauna as being worthy of their efforts.

I will try to find the info, but a large animal cruelty case was brought against aspects of said show the first time they ate and killed M.G.issing ciockroaches, apparently they can still do it, but I remember it ended up in court.
I too saw many species including boas, Ball pythons, Burmese pythons reticulated pythons and I beleive I saw a rock python, I was hoping they all got bit, My husband commented that the only dangerouse animal in there was actually the tokays, damn they bite hard!
    Thanks
