Well Ill probably start building my rack system this weekend but before I order heat tape from the bean farm I just need a little guidance.
My bins will be 39 1/2 inches long x 20 inches wide and 7 inches high, how much heat tape should I use on each bin I believe its sold by the foot at 11 inches wide. Thanx for any suggestions, hopefully I can borrow a digital camera and post pics of Plissken and my home made rack soon.

I figured someone with a rack would have answered you by now. I'd think if you insulated the back of the rack that 1' per level would be enough, but I'm not an expert by any means.

Yep, sorry I don't have a better answer for you. I hope to become experienced with rack systems, but i'm not yet.
