    I fed Plissken last Sunday and the mouse though adult just didnt seem big enough a meal, and of course I want him to grow and look healthy...yada yada yada...
    I know that Alex Hue said to feed him every 4 or 5 days, but I wanted to err on the side of caution, escpecialy in view of the fact that everyone here said that was too often.
    So is it proper husbandry to feed him a day or two earlier if the prey item seemed too small or is it still best to just stick with the routine of feeding him every Sunday?

    A lot of people feed juveniles every 4 or 5 days if they'll take it and that's ok. It means less handling time for you but faster growth for Plissken. If you're not in a rush to get him up to breeding weight, which you don't seem to be, I'd just pay attention to him and see if he's cruising the cage at night or otherwise exhibiting behaviors indicating hunger. If he's hungry tonight, feed him tonight. On the other hand, if you aren't keeping a record of feedings and have a hard time keeping track, it is easier to feed on a specific day because you always know Sunday is feeding day.
