    Just hanging out with me...

Caesar doing his impression of Jen's Tiger Rattlesnake!

It always amazes me how far straight UP they can go!

Caesar's recent shed...wandering all around his tank.

    Ditto.
The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is....

....Tattooed people don't care if you're not tattooed.

Indeed. Very nice, Judy. And just so I can show my colubrid ignorance again, was kind of snake is he?

    Thanks ya'll!!

Smynx, he's a Cape Gopher Snake. A great little guy who is a pleasure to handle and look at. He's not much of a "display" animal though and spends all of his time crammed into his smallest hide. (It amazes me that he still fits in there!)

John, I'll go through my pics and see if I have any good ones of the cage.

Thanks, Judy. I think he's adorable, and the pattern along his back is so symmetrical. Very interesting.

Here's a full picture of the cage. It looks like it has a crack at the top-right corner, but that's just a piece of the nylon thread that keeps the locking pins from getting lost.

What a cool lookin' guy! For a minute there, I read the topic thinking "I didn't know I posted this", because one of my bp's name is Caesar, LOL! Anyway, great shots, he's amazing. I like the impression...

Thanks Jen! When I saw how that one pic turned out, I immediately thought of you!
We actually came up with the name Caesar thinking we would buy a bp. I wanted something suitably regal for my "royal" python. When we ended up getting the gopher snake instead, my daughter insisted on keeping the name.
I'll have fun coming up with something totally original (hopefully) this summer when I finally get my Royal!
