Sorry, this is a non-reptile post but I just wanted to share it with you because I'm very happy!

Finally I can tell what I’ve wanted to tell for weeks:

    I’m pregnant!!!

Yes, the new year couldn’t have started better than with a positive pregnancy-test on January 2nd! We are very happy with this news!

I’m in my 12th week and we expect our first child in the first week of September.

On February 4th, 2004 we had our first appointment at the obstetrician and got an ultrasound. We were very happy to see a good heartbeat and a very tiny person. Already complete with arms, hands, legs and feet. He/she was moving a lot and waved with it's hands and feet. It was beautiful! I will add the photo of the ultrasound for the people who are interested. (head on the right, feet on the left)

I just wanted to tell you this because I’m so very happy!!!

Congratulations, Naara!!!! Best wishes for a healthy, happy baby. I've had 2 myself, and I have to say it's the most amazing thing you will ever experience. Enjoy it! And keep us posted on your progress.

We had had the names ready for over 3 years now. The name for a girl is really definate, for a boy I'm still in doubt. I just don't like boy-names!

Best of luck to you and the little one. I'm so happy for you! So, how long will it take before s/he learns all about the wonderful world of herps? Ok, one thing at a time..
