Just wondering whether you guys use tap water for your snakes, or do you buy spring water? Is tap water bad in any way for BPs?

    Spring or Tap Water

Good ole tap water here. I just add the required amounts of repti-safe to it.

Well, wouldnt think so since that is what most people use for thier BP's.
But I am far from being a professional.

Reverse Osmosis water for my guys. We drink it, the dog drinks it, the fish get it - so I figured why not the snakes. I don't wanna drink our tap ater so share the 'good' water. We have an under the sink reverse osmosis unit in our kitchen so it's no extra cost or effort.

I think we have to make a judgement call based on the condition of our local water. Where I am now, it's pretty decent water and I don't have any problem serving it to my children, so I don't have any problem serving it to my snake. I have lived places where bottled or filtered water was more appropriate. Basically...whatever I give the family, I give my critters.
