    Should I go for it?

I found a male Mojave ball python thats 50% possible het albino. The guy says that he produced him from a Mojave x het Albino pairing a few years ago and he held him back, but never tried to prove him out. The guy is asking $225 shipped for him. I am thinking about getting him and seeing if i can prove him out next season with my albino female. Think I should do it?

My two cents, spend your money on a 100% het and know what your chances are..

I would definitely go for it, $225 for a Mojave is a good deal on it's own, but if it's 50% poss. het albino that's a major plus.

Edit: if it's a hatchling, no.
    if it's an adult, yes.

It is an adult. He's around 1,000 grams.

Oh, then I think it's definitely a good deal, but don't take my word for it, wait for some more replies just to be sure.

I've been meaning to get a mojave, so finding one that could possibly be a het albino is a huge plus for me. He is a proven breeder too. He was just never bred to an albino or het albino because of the other projects he was working on.

If you want a mojave anyhow, then yes, get him.
