Every now and then, particularly at night when he's hanging out with me, I notice Vigo's mouth opening wide as if yawning. Is that what I'm seeing? Or is it some other behavior? Thanks!!

Yeah, but where in humans yawning is done to increase oxygen intake, in snakes it's done to realign their jaws. Nothing to worry about.

Yeah I've noticed my baby ball doing that now and then and was also wondering what the purpase was. Other than eating do their jaws get out of line that much?

Nah, but apparently they sometimes just aren't quite satisfied with the positioning, like a dog who keeps getting up and lying down again, and they'll readjust.
