ok my bp sage hasn't eaten in 4 weeks i managed to feed him or her a week after i got it to eat live it wouldn't eat frozen i tried. the next week it didn't eat i tried all week but still wouldn't eat then it started to shed so i left it alone then it shed most of the way except the head and that is still on there so im wondering is this the reason it won't eat i can't do it myself my bp is head sensitive. I tried killing the mouse and feeding it to my bp but still no is it safe for a young bp to stop eating for so long.

Sage is probably a bit stressed from the move, the shed, and so many feeding attempts. I'd suggest first waiting 5-7 days after the last feeding attempt before trying again -- every time -- and second giving a live mouse hopper or fuzzy and once Sage has finished the heads-up swallowing routine wiggling a fresh-killed or frozen/thawed adult mouse to try to take advantage of the fact the feeding response has kicked in. If you can do that for 3 or 4 weeks, you should be able to get it switched over. Good luck!
