    First boa, way back...

    Found an old pic from waaaay back when of my first boa, she was about 13 - 14 years old here. Pic quality isn't that great though....

    Wow, she's gorgeous!! I too would like to know if you still have her or any more recent pics. Awesome snake, I hope one day my girls will be as old and healthy as she is in that pic.

    Thanks guys! I wish I had more pics of her as she grew, she did get faily large and lived over 25 years, maybe longer as I wasn't sure of her age when I first got her. What I should do is dig up some pics of how little she was when I first did get her, do a before and after compare.

    Since you had her from young boa to adult - did she maintain her personality thru the years.

    I have a soon to be 2 year old boa and I sure hope she continues to be as good natured as she is now.

    She was about the same temperment wise most of her life, liked being well fed! Only time I got bit was because I startled her while she was sleeping, feeding response maybe? Lucky for me she was less than half the size she was in the pic, so not too big of a deal. Good learning lesson for me....
