I finally found a name...

After extensive research on naming my new bp,I am going with Hydra. I really like this name and she is named after the constellation Hydra, which is the water serpent.

My old cat is named Orion, because her "pastel" calico colors reminded me of the colors of the Orion Nebula as seen through a telescope.

Yeah, when we were watching MIB, and the one character mentioned that the galaxy was in "Orion's Belt", even though I wasn't thinking in terms of outguessing the movie, the first thing I thought of was the cat because of our Orion.

She's an old kitty, somewhere between 10 and 15 years now. Her greatest joys are a warm lap, and mooching beef from us when we're eating.
