Not all babies hatch out as planned!

This little dude, I'm calling him Igor, came out today. We hope he survives, but you never know what else internal could be wrong. All his clutch mates came out good. If he survives the first week the next tough one will be can he eat. If he eats and has proper bowl function will start looking for a special needs home where he can get the added love he will probably need.

Hopefully the Little Guy Pulls Through. I doubt it is anything too serious that would affect him. Best of Luck.

Looks like one of his eyes is just buldging out a bit. If it really becomes a huge problem, like gets infected or something, i would ask a herp vet to just remove the eye. Ive seen a few cases of bps born without eyes, so completely blind, and theyre thriving. Your little guy should be fine!

Hopefully he pulls through for you! I had one that I kept for about 6 months, but she was never able to pass stool on her own. I felt the same way you did about there possibly being something wrong internally from the start. We will hope everything is top notch inside of him though!
