    new pic

Here are some pics of Eleanor I took... I think she's confused because I took her plants away until I can find a better way to hold them in place, lol.

I really need to clean her glass, lol. Oh ya, the little thing stuck in the skull is a temperature sensor thingy. I love when they play periscope

All she needs is a good back-wall picture to block the view of the wires and complement her setup! What's with the dual-substrate?

Yeah behind her cage is a mess! I have so many things in that corner of my room it's starting to get rediculous... oh, and the gravel under the water dish was due to poor thinking on my part, she always gets dirt in the water dish when she crawls through it so it gets ditry within an hour of changing it... I was thinking gravel would solve that problem but needless to say it wouldn't have much effect. So it's stayed... it hasn't caused any problems and she hardly ends up even touching it anyway. I'm thinking of converting to astro-turf but I'm waiting 'til I get a new enclosure (this summer I hope) so I don't end up with useless, wrong-sized peices.

Lindsay, sounds like a worthy attempt at fixing the dirty water problem. Have you considered one of those mats they sell to put in front of litter boxes that trap the litter from cats' feet? It might be worth a shot, anyway.

Marla - The cat litter thing is a good idea! I think we have one in the laundry room or something that didn't work for the cats... maybe it'll be more useful to Eleanor though? I'll have to look for that tomorrow... thanks for the idea!

You're welcome. I hope it works for you. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?

She's not confused about the plants, she's wondering how long ago you had a cat with teeth that big, and what could have killed it, and if THAT critter is hunting her! LOL
