my baby boa is extreamly hard to feed. the frozen rat pup must be very warm first off and then when it finally does strike at its prey it just sits there with the pup in its mouth sideways and doesn't eat it

its now the 3rd time that i've fed it and each time it takes the snake 2 hrs to start to eat it

has anyone else ever noticed this in any of thier snakes or is it just mine that is stupid

i'm feeding it as i type this and its just sitting there with this rat pup sideways in its mouth and its been at least an hour since it took the prey
Girlfriend: Your room smells like reptile!!!
Me: Are you saying my balls smell??

My adult male BP is like that. He always tries to eat the rat ass-first, lol.

My young BP ate the biggest mouse of his short life ass-first, and a little sideways. Made it twice as difficult as needed. I guess he was looking for a challenge.

They're amazing and curious creatures, these snakes.

    Peace.
