Hunter the snake. Now in the correct forum.

    On the prowl.

    Another shot.

Hot side hang out. She finally started using the hides. She really like the open top coconut hide.

    Few more shots.

    Night OPs.

It took days but she finally started using hides. This seems to be the hot side favorite.

I found people to be correct. They seem to know which way OUT is. I liked this maneuver and almost gave her a 10, but she tipped and I felt the landing needed some work.

My son seemed to think the little green frog was the most important part of the setup. I was hoping so but I ended up buying the Herpstat 2 just to be on the safe side.

Last one. I hope you snake lovers enjoyed these. It's a first for us and we're learning every day. Even the 2 months of research didn't have us totally prepared.

Special thanks to Aaron, "The Serpent Merchant" for walking me through some husbandry issues. This is going to be fun!!

Thanks for the kind words. Is her pattern something different from the normal?

My son is funny. When we first went to look at these, and the king snakes, he was shooting out morph terms left and right with the guy who worked there. Obviously he wanted a Royal, but the he was asking about the pies and the clowns, I took a look at the prices and said,,, "Uuhmmmmm,,, I think you'll be getting a regular."

I am a fan of the way they look naturally, however the morphs were amazing just because of how different they are.

I assume this is a normal?? I do like her colors and pattern as well.

Thanks again for the comments. We're having fun. Hope to be FULLY set up in the next week.

Just a normal, but there is a great amount of variation in normals.

Here is my normal girl for example very different, but both normals:

    1.0 Coastal/Jungle Carpet Python (Shagrath)

Oh yeah, WOW. That is different. There is a lot more dark on her and she has those circular markings. Some almost look like little faces on her.

Its hard to pick a favorite when I see that. I suppose that's why many people have more than one.
