Monty started shedding the day before yesterday. He got the skin off of his head and rubbed it off onto his hide. He has not yet shed the rest. I am going to soak him in the tub for a bit. After doing so, should I try to help him get the skin off or just let him do it on his own?
Thanks,
Jeremy

Time to soak...
What I sometimes do here, (if said snake is having problems) is gently rub the snake while he / she is soaking,
That may help
Thanks

Soaking him did seem to help. I had my wife get him out of his cage so I could do a little cleaning. It was her first time holding him, so she took him to the bathroom to put him in the tub. As she was kneeling down to put him in, he turned his head towards her arm and appeared to be smelling her hand. She freaked out and dropped him in the tub. He made a loud thud and took off out of the tub. I got him and put him back in. He relaxed and swam around for a bit. He then climbed up to the water faucet and wrapped around it. I left him alone for a while and finally got him off of the faucet and put him back in his cage. He seems to be ok.

my bps dont like the water unless i hold them in it... they just seem to feel nervous in the tub, but when my hand is on them they seem to love it.

Will, that's adorable. Snyder likes having a lid on her bath and will happily swim around once it's on.
