Has anyone ever heard of this or used it? I had a friend reccomend it to me after Roz had a terrible first shed with us. We are keeping the humidity up as best as we can (it is dry as a bone here right now anyway) but wonderd if this might not also help, she is going into her shed now.

i would just soak her. the less you are forced to use product, the better.

I use shed ease on my reptiles, and I think the stuff is great. It does seem to help.

Thanks Jeanne. We have been putting it in her bath water for about 3 weeks now, so she has soaked in it 3 times so far. I hope we see a better shed this time around with higher humidity and the shed ease. Are there any other tips you can give me with this product? Should I spritz her down when she starts the actual shedding if she looks like it might be rough again, or would just a water soak be better?

Setup
I spray it directly on my snakes when I notice thier skin getting dull, and I continue to do so until shedding is complete. I also give them warm baths every few days to help this along, and then once they are dry from thier bath, spray them with shed ease. Another thing I have been doing for awhile now, is even when they are not in shed, I have a product made by Four Paws- Nature's Reptile Vita-Spray. Heres what is says on the bottle:
*Provides natures vitamins
*Contains Electrolytes
*Prevents drying of the skin
*Keeps reptiles healthier for a longer life
I spray this directly on my snakes 1-2 times weekly, when they are not in shed. As soon as they have shed, I use this immediately. I guess my biggest reason for this is because this product contains electrolytes, which are vital to the animals. I have found that by using this product I have less shed problems to begin with. I feel it has helped using both products in conjunction with eachother.

i'm pretty sure snakes like to be dry when they shed.. makes it a little eaiser on them.

These products dont keep them wet, they do dry, but what they do is provide "lubrication" if thats what you want to call it to make shedding easier. It is only a temporary wet just like soaking would provide.

I've used it, worked pretty well. A bottle doesn't last long though.
