Monty started shedding last night. I have kept the cage misted so the humidity would stay up at 70-75%. He got all of the skin off of his head, including the eye caps. He then rubbed that skin off on one of his hides. He has not yet shed the rest of his skin. Should I wait and let him do it, or do I need to soak him. It looks like it is ready to come off. Guess I might be jumping the gun. How long do they usually take to shed once they have started the actual skin removal process? Thanks,

    Jeremy

he'll be fine. as long as the humidity is good there shouldn't be a problem. leave him alone for a few hours, come back... he'll shed.
