    Look what we caught!!

On the way to the Vet for Achilles follow up a neighbor asked if we lost a rabbit. So of course I had to check it out, looked under the car to see the cutest little dwarf bunny just relaxing . She said it had been out there all day passing her house and back and fourth under cars. I wasn't leaving it out there, and still had some time to make it to the Vet before they closed, so the chase began. Didn't even put up a fight when I caught it, hopefully someones looking for it.

It wasn't afraid of Achilles much a little startled in the beginning but that was it. Achilles watched us chase it down and wouldn't leave it alone after we caught it.

That bunny...is unbelievably adorable. If no one claims it are you going to keep it?

Oh wow! It's a really good thing you caught it! Rabbits can die pretty quickly from getting bitten by a cat. I had a rabbit die that way years ago and it was horrible. She got out and my cat attacked her. What do you plan to do with her if you can't find her owners? (or his, cause sometimes it can be tricky sexing rabbits)

I couldn't see or feel any testicles but the Vet verified it was a female. I left her at the hospital with one of the employees who wants her. I'll post some signs around the neighborhood and craigslist if anyone's looking for her to contact me or go to the Vet.

One of my first pets was a rabbit so she brought back a lot of memories

I had a Peter Rabbit when I was a kid. He was easily 10 lbs and his girlfriends were Flopsy and Mopsy.
