:?: I was wondering if female BPs attain a larger size and grow faster than the males??? my female "Trinity is at about 3.5 feet now and has grown larger and faster than my male "Cypher"...he is only at about 2.5 feet right now  he is a beautiful and well cared for specimen but he is nowhere near as large as Trinity. So far all is well with my BPs...I lavish them with as near perfect care and conditions as possible and they have rewarded me with feeding regularly and growing rapidly. It is amazing how fast they have grown since I purchased them at the IRBA show back in April  they were little more than hatchlings at the time and I could hold them in the palm of my hand...heeheehee..my little babies...now they are turning into monsters...

Well, that is about all for now....I hope all of you have had a Merry Christmas and I will be posting more frequently from here on out..I have just been kind of busy lately!!!!

Do female Ball Pythons grow faster and larger than males?

    Hi there,

Yes, it is said that females are larger full grown out of the two genders. If they grow faster, who knows. I would think so. I think that just depends on how much they are fed.

    Hope I helped some.

i have no experience in raising from babies (my only baby is still a baby), but i would imagine they grow about the same... only the males stop growing a little sooner than the females.

My female is about a month or 2 younger, and she has caught up to my male already(both are this summers hatchlings)
