Help! Baby ball hasn't eaten in 40 days

Hi guys, I don't post often but I figured I would ask for some help on this one.

I have a 2011 Albino female that used to be a great eater, never missed a meal. Then we went a while where she would eat every other meal, but was still putting on weight. It has now been 40 days since her last meal and I'm worried that I should try offering something else (was eating live mice when I got her, switched to f/t rats and was taking large f/t rat pups before going off food). Should I offer f/t mice? Live rats? I'd rather have her eat f/t mice than have to deal with live rats every week....She was 210g at the beginning of her hunger strike and weighed in at 204g tonight, so she didn't really lose much weight but I'm still worried about her. She just shed today so I'm hoping that she might be more interested in eating...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
    ~Marissa~

I would give live mice or rat pups a try

I would try live to see if she will start eating again...You can try to go back to F/T once she's doing better.

give her some more time. she's only lost a few grams. she would most likely eat live, but if you want her on f/t give it some more time. plus her going into a shed cycle could of added time for her not to eat.

Thanks everyone! I think I'm going to offer her f/t rat first (to see if it was the shed cycle throwing her off), then a live rat. She used to be an amazing eater so I don't know what happened.

Has anything changed in her husbandry? Is she around the 900gm mark? I find that around this point that often go off food for a while 40 days is not a concern unless there is a lot of weight loss. If your temps and humidity are the same and that animal is healthy I would just keep offering what ever she was eating before she stopped and not stress her out with different food items.

I have a 2011 boy that just ended a 60day hunger strike. As long as your snake is not losing a huge amount of weight I would keep offering what she was eating before the strike. If anything just go down in size a bit.

Try going back to the live mice. If that's what she was eating well on go back to basics. You can try to switch her back to ft after she resumes a normal eating schedule.
