Not right now, but we may end up doing them once we get some real nice ones imported. not many of the HIGH END ones in the US from what i been able to find out. these guys were rescued from Petco over the weekend.

Yeah i have not had any since i was a kid, but the misses wanted to try them out with the kids (7th B-day tomorrow), but she fell in love with a few there, and i just could not let the lil white one stay there. kinda feel like a kid all over again. over a tiny lil fish.

Yeah, the only way to get some higher end bettas in the US are from US breeders--look up the IBC if you haven't. They will even give high quality pairs to new members to help them start out breeding. Lots of trading and shows and fun stuff. Petco generally gets the healthy culls. Sometimes you'll get a stunning beauty though!

I love your boys, they look very fiesty! Something tells me that big ear is going to marble. I might be wrong, but he just looks like he's dying to start changing color! They love to pretend to be solid white at the store!

Very nice bettas! I love the little guys too.

I had the worst problems with them a while ago, but I have started adding a 1"x1" approximate square of Indian Almond leaf in the bowl with them and the tannins from the leaf keep the bacterial and/or fungal infections down. It will look like they are swimming in apple juice, but they are very happy.

Just thought I would hand that little bit of info down. Sure did save my guy.

yeah i had a flash light on him, it looks like some blueish undertones on him that may develop. Yeah been trying to get all the info i can at this point since we just spent $50 in betta's alone this weekend. last thing i want is them to float.

LOL i hear you there, there is still one more we want to go up and get, but it is a 50+ mile round trip for us, only local pet shop, and that is the closest.
