    Fire?

Thoughts? Was obtained via a trade as a normal female. Thinking it's a male Fire now, possibly. Hoping, that he is.

The flash is really washing out those pictures, even then the head stamp doesn't scream fire...but then again I own a very obvious fire and I'm not well versed on more subtle ones...good luck either way! That's a killer pattern

The color doesn't look great in the pics, but it looks like a nice reduced pattern Normal to me.
Also, what makes you think it is a male and not a female?

No kidding. I'm a bit peeved. I popped "her", just to see if I could manage to pop a larger BP, and I got what I'm quite sure was a sperm plug. "He"'s very nice in the sunlight especially. If he is a Fire, I wouldn't count him as an exceptional example, of course. I'm just hoping he's not a normal male. :/

To be fair, the couple I get this one from was just starting out and told me that they hadn't had him/her very long. I'm thinking that they either honestly didn't know she was he, or they got ripped and ripped me in return.

Thanks for the responses! I'll try for better pics later but I honestly can't promise anything. Perhaps a smart phone will do better as a camera.

IF you didn't see hemipenes don't start thinking that it is a male. Females have scent glands that could produce a "sperm plug" looking thing. Or it could of just been alittle bit of urates that got pushed out.

    Re: Fire?

    I don't see Fire...

Did you see hemipenes? That the only way to tell if it's a male...You most likely pushed out some old skin/shed.

Hm. Didn't know that. I'll take him/her to get him/her probed tomorrow, then, shall I? I intended to do that, anyway, but now I have a more optimistic outlook. He/she is also quite thin. I have an 800g female who is a beefcake compared to this one - who is around 1200g.

Looks like a Normal with a cool pattern to me. I also don't think she looks all that thin.
