How many times should you refreeze if the BP refuses to eat? Am thinking that 3 is the most I am comfortable with before I throw the food away and trying again with a new one in a day or two. I know that the longer you let it sit out, the more "gamey" it gets...............I just don't want to give the guy food that is beginning to rot...........
    Suggestions?

Well, did some searching on the subject, some people leave the thawed with the snake all night.......then of course pitch it if not eaten.
Others give the snake ten to twenty minutes......if not chowed down, back in the freezer. Repeated most often just once if nec.
Either way, from now on I'm just gonna clobber the fella right before the dinner bell rings and if it doesnt get eaten then I'll freeze it for only one more attempt. Only took a frozen cause I knew he was due to eat and need to pick up a rat motel before I bring live food home.
How many of you guys breed your own food?
