How many do YOU own?
Couldn't think of another appropriate subject title.......
Anyway, I was reading a recent post that made me have to ask if in fact Ball Pythons can in fact live communally. If so, should size diffference be considered? Or does that not matter? What about sex? Does it matter if you have two of the same, not the same?
I'm thinking about gettting another Bal Python here soon and I want to know if I should just let them live together for as long as their size allows in the 20 gallon long that I have.
Thanks in advance.

I have 3 bp's living together, and they do just fine. I make sure to feed them separetly ofcourse... but it can be done, just watch your snakes for stress...
My bp's are all male. I would think the only reprocussion to having male/female together, would be possible babies. Maybe someone else has an idea. I believe there are a few other members that have different sex bp's living together all the time.

i tryed housing mine togeather after getting a new male and as it turns out my first snake pimpin was a pimpette
i opened the cage to change the water and i saw them locked up.
normally that would be great but pimpette was way to small to have eggs so I had to seperate them.
I've housed males with males before and they did great never had a problem
Girlfriend: Your room smells like reptile!!!
Me: Are you saying my balls smell??

Quarantine is key...
Look, you will get people who will 100% disagree with keeping bp's together... I'm not advocating it at all, but I do it with two of mine with no ill effects. With bp care, it does not always have to be 100% by the book all the time. There is some room for customization.... Just be careful what you do, not even I abide totally by the book.

I have three that live together nicely. The smallest one is in a seperate tank, only due to her size. Quarentine, blood and fecal tests are all done before anyone is interacted.
But mine do fine.(seperate when feeding).
Thanks'RUSTY
