Ok I did some more internet reading tonight and now i'm disconfuggled... I was under the impression that males were larger, and that females typically had smaller necks and smaller heads than the males did?

But what i read tonight contradicted that sayin that females were larger than the males.

So is my lil baby my lil buddy? I know the only sure way to tell is with a probe, but I'm still trin to find someone around (both vets don't, but i'm thinkin the local zoo might cause they have alotta snakes) that can look at her (till i know for sure she's gonna my my lil girl )and tell me for sure what she really is.

Reverse what you thought, and you got it right.

Females are larger both in length and width. They tend to have bigger heads, and are usually a bit more mean

It seems females are larger than males with a lot/most reptiles - there are some exceptions.

Try finding an exotic pet store or private breeder - they might probe for you. Also check nearby reptile shows. You might be able to get one of the breeders there to probe for you. Our reptile show usually has a vet available to give exams, probe, etc.

Well crap. I guess Imma have to change his name then.. I picked Andariel because the smuch at the pet store told me it was a she.

I guess it'll be called Mephisto now (another Diablo monster) since he's smaller and with a small head.

Maybe they had it probed and that's why he said female? Does the pet store probe? I think sexing a BP visually is not that reliable (at least that's the impression I get).

Here's a link to reptile shows:
