    Reptile Scan

I don't know if anyone else has seen this APP (http://www.lpracks.com/reptile-scan.html) but I stumbled onto it last night surfing the web. It looks pretty cool and I'm thinking about giving it a try. At this time it has a couple reviews; one that's pretty good, and another that's not too good at all. Even if it does take some time getting it setup I think this has the potential to be something awesome.

Looks interesting though I could only see it being needed with a very large collection. Guess it reminds me too much of working retail and scanning barcodes.

I am waiting for more menus to be added. If they could have all the menus on iHerp and you could export the data, then it would be worth it.

They put up a 99 cent 'trial version' that allows you to do everything the full app does but is limited to 50 actions.

Im unimpressed... If I was going to spend over 20 for the full version I would have to be able to print the scan codes over wifi from my device and also add animals through my device...

If I wanted to set everything up on the computer and only add data on my phone I would use iherp for free... The whole point would be to cut out the inconvenience of taking out my laptop.

I just ran across this app as well. Its SOOO close to what I've been searching for! It seems like I can't add pictures or print things from the app, but it seems like it has most the other functions I would need. Does anyone have any more input since their new updates?

I dont mind setting up from my laptop, and actually prefer to set up the animal registry that way. However, the fact that you can't add pictures from the app or print labels is really unfortunate. I wonder if you can export data for customers.

It now does have an android version.

I own the full version. The newest update was actually quite good my biggest beef was fixed (I emailed them never got an email response but did get an update ...) that was weight tracking. The singular best feature is I can enter actions my partner can enter actions and we both have the same records of them. I often will run though spot cleaning and changing water she follows updating records. It is super efficient, I paid full price for it and do not regret it at all.

    Re: Reptile Scan

I ended up purchasing the full version and I LOVE IT! I also found out that you can now add pictures through the app on your iphone. It is actually pretty cool and time saving.

That is how it works I just print the web page. It sends datum you input from the phone to a web site and it can be accessed from any computer.
