What's the deal with no pictures?

I've noticed on several occasions that all the pictures are "x'd" out.

Then later, they're all back.

Why is that?

Sometimes your computer for whatever reason won't load the pics. I don't know specifically why. If you right click on the x, and click "Show picture" it should show up, if the problem is NOT with the photo gallery or server.
Your avatar is not working because it appears you have moved it in your photo album. If you put in the new URL in your profile, it should work.

Well, if the picture gets moved or deleted from the source it will get an "x"

I was adding pic's to put up, then I would go back and delete them out of my album and then the x would appear. The I noticed that if I put the picture back into the album the x would disapear, and the picture would re-appear....Confusing?

I'm still getting nothing but x's on the entire website. Every picture is x'd out. Not only mine, but every single picture.

I've tried cleaning out my system, I've tried restarting my computer. Nothing. I expected that it would have restored itself by this morning as that is how it's been in the past.

No dice.

What Internet browser are you using (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla, Opera)?

Are all of the images a red "x"? Or are they a red, green and blue icon with boxes?

What kind of Internet connection do you have (dial-up / broadband)?

I'm using Internet Explorer 5.0 and all of the pictures are just boxes with a red x in it. Also, usiing a dialup connection.

Again, this is only happening on THIS website. All the others load fine.

AND, now it's not happening anymore. All of the pictures are as they were. Very weird. This isn't the first time this has happened (to me on this website). And ususally after a day, it stops and returns to normal.

Very strange.

I, and a couple of others, have had some troubles lately, and only on this site. Different problems though. So I dont know if they are related or not. My problems have finally quit, hopefully yours will too soon.
