Newbe question but i'm askin anyways.. Tail wagging??

Ok yall i've got an unsexed bp that i've had multiple probe attempts with and every time i get a different answer from each person. Anyways lastnight we had a nice rain storm go through and while I was watching tv I noticed the bp in question cruising its tub and wagging its tail, even hitting the side of its tub with its tail.. Is this any sign of sex? I have a male below and a male above the unknown bp. Temps and husbandry are spot on and feeding was a few days ago. Thanks for the answeres and or input..

I see my females do that when I put a male in for breeding. If I had to make an educated guess on this one. I would say female with the storm blowing over and it being breeding season.

Honestly, I don't think you can draw any concrete conclusions from that behavior.

While I have never observed any tail wagging in my own collection, I have heard multiple stories about it happening in both males and females.

I have one female who does it for like half an hour when I put a male in. A few of the others do it too but not as long. I'd say it has to do with breeding for sure

you will need to get the snake properly sexed to be certain, yes females sometimes will do a tail wag, (spreading their pheromones), but it could just be a male letting out a fart as well. if you lived closer i would have been glad to sex it for ya.

    lol, oh boy...

Females tail wag, I have never seen a male do a true tail wag like a female will, swishing her tail to and from while hanging her goodies out to scent the tub/enclosure.

The male will get the clue if you place him with her enough times

All of my breeding females do this when I introduce a male, or very rarely to let me know I'm slacking off in the pairing routine.

However, my extremely special woma male does it as well. And yes I know for a fact he's a boy, he's been breeding a few of my girls. But every now and then he does the tail wagging thing just like my females do. I have no idea why, maybe it's some form of self stimulation? {Can I say that here?} But yes, he wags big time.

You need a vet or extremely experienced breeder to help you out with he/she/it.
