    hey, has anyone considered breeding rats for their snakes consumption? Is it worth it in the long-run?

    Yes, it is. I don't do it, but I know many people that do. I would do it if I had the room for another rack. (Even though you don't necissarily need one to breed rodents)...

    I breed my own rats. I am not yet producing enough to totally supply my needs, but the financial burden has eased significantly! I have a breeder colony of 1.4, but I'm fixing to off one female, and replace her. She isn't producing.
