    Yay Success!

My little girl is 6 months old and getting bigger slowly. I've been trying to switch her from mice to rats for months now and today I had success. I took your suggestions and made her wait for 2wks to eat then thawed a rat put in the same bag as a mouse, rubbed them together and wa la She gulped it down with no hesitation. I'm so happy now I can start increasing the size of her food. I know the mice have not been enough because a day after eating she sits in her hunger position and eagerly awaits the next offering. I have not indulged her daily interest but I have fed her about every 3-4 days for a few weeks now. Anyway, thanks everyone for the help and shheeww thank goodness I didn't have to feed live. lol

It sure is and I think she's as happy as I am about it since she's been asleep since she ate. lol I have a question though. The nearest reptile store is a long way away from my home and I want to order on line. What is the best site to get f/t rats at a reasonable price from?

Try this site they look pretty good. The shipping is expensive but chances are they ship on dry ice. Individual prices are way cheaper then my local reptile store which makes the shipping charge justifiable.
