    Help US help YOU

I have seen a LOT of "Is this a Morph" threads that really do to give us enough information to really make an educated guess.

IMO, for us to help you, we need the following CLEAR shots, with as natural of lighting as possible:

    1. Head
    2. Full Pattern
    3. Belly
    4. Any other distinguishing marks

If the snake needs to "settle" or you cannot get the pics, you may need to wait. Also if you look at the pic and the color is way off, try again as color can be very important. If you are getting the pics from someone else, they should be able to get you the views you need.

Without good input from you, we cannot give you good output.

    Here is an example:

I picked up this girl today and I think she may be a Morph.

    Head:

    Pattern:

    Belly:

    Other marks:

I already know that this snake is a Specter (het Super Stripe, Whirlwind) but I think these are decent examples.

    Very nicely done Jinx!
Definitely should be helpful for people looking for help ID'ing their animals!

The only thing I would add is an side shot of the overall pattern.

Good call! That would help especially for the ones with flames/blushing.

Great thread, this needs to be stickied.

On a side note - I absolutely love the heart shaped marking on the side of your Specter. ADORABLE!

How do you ID a specter? I would never have guessed that.

That second snake that just got posted is tricksy. Back end looks normal, front end looks black pastel-y. Dorsal shot also looks like there's something going on. Anybody else think I'm crazy?
