For a variety of personal reasons I decided not to breed any of my snakes last year as I knew I wouldn't have the time to take care of babies. However, I did kind of halfheartedly throw together a few pairs very late in the season figuring that nothing would probably happen. Then last December when I was cleaning cages I was surprised to find my het clown wrapped around a small clutch of 4 rather sunken in eggs. She had to have been sitting on them for at least a week, I put them in the incubator and while two of them didn't make it, the other two hatched in February into 1.1 66% possible het clowns. This is both the latest I've ever gotten eggs and the earliest I've ever hatched babies, it was a nice happy surprise after the year I'd just had.
I was cleaning the other day and thought they looked kind of cute so I snapped a few pics, I kind of like this one.
