How old is Silas, or at least how big is s/he (maybe I missed it from another post)?

I have soaked my BP's in the bath tub before. For my adults I used approximately 1 1/2-2 inches of water all the way across, and for the babies I used about an inch. I guess I just based it on just covering the top of their back to where they could slither along the bottom, not swim or float.
