    Exclamation New to ball pythons

Questions? New to BPs. I have had my ball for 2 wks. She was fed 2 days before I purchased her and regurgitated the day after I brought her home. I have not gotten to eat yet. Any suggestions?

First we're going to need to know more about your setup. How old is the snake? What are you keeping it in? What are you using for heat, and how are you controlling it? How are you measuring humidity and temperature? What are you using for substrate?

As for right now, I would advise you to wait at least a week before trying to handle or feed your snake. They need time to acclimate to their new environments, which stresses them out a bit. That's probably why she regurged.

Wait 3-4 weeks before trying to feed her again. Regurges are very traumatic for snakes and they need time for their digestive systems to resettle. In that time period keep the handling to a minimum for its ok to handle her shortly for and cleaning. Or if you have to move her to give her fresh water or something. After the wait is over only then will you have to worry about attempting to feed her again
