    Over in the topic wherein we're all invited to introduce ourselves, I commented that I wouldn't mind finding a nice little female Ball Python to raise up while I'm raising my male BP, Phil, and maybe breeding them when the time comes. It occurred to me that if I get a female, I'll have to name her "Dixie".

    Of course, then I started to wonder if anyone would "get" that. So, without "Googling" the answer, I'm wondering how many of you know why I'd name her "Dixie"?

    Cartoon, yes, but not Japanese. Actually, more like comic and not cartoon.
