    Anacondas?

Ok so i was just looking at a site and it had me confused... I dont want to discredit anyone or disclose much i am sure some of you have seen this site. I was just wondering how many types of anacondas there are... I am familiar with the green and the yellow and as far as i know they dont look anything like a hognose.... If I am mistaken please educate me!

Hognose snakes have a anaconda morph. It has a similar pattern as an anaconda thats why it was given that name.

    Green and yellow.

The anaconda hognose is simply a morph of hognose.

    Re: Anacondas?

    Hi,

I think there are four species of anacondas but only two seen in the pet trade.

And yet the anaconda in hognose is just a morph name not the species.

Yes there are four anaconda species but like Dr.Del said only two are in the pet trade.
    Eunectes murinus, the green anaconda
    Eunectes notaeus, the yellow anaconda
    Eunectes deschauenseei, the dark-spotted anaconda,
    Eunectes beniensis, the Bolivian anaconda,
