    For the art lovers...

Got bit by momma rat today while handing out her babies to the kids. Not a big deal, right? So I thought. Not a bad bite, just barely broke the skin, and I couldn't make it bleed. More of a stern warning than anything else!
Anyways, about five minutes later, I found myself scratching around the bite, and noticed some hives popping up in an area about the size of a half dollar around the bite. Itched like crazy for about 1/2 hour, then was fine. Anyone else allergic to rat bites?
Wierd. Never heard of that before!

    OUCH! Itch, Itch, Itch.......

I used to keep pet rats when I was younger and I had a couple friends who got hives just from handling them! I knew at least three people this would happen to, one of which also kept pet rats, lol.

Bri gets hives from rats too. It is pretty common, but, have never heard of someone getting hives from a bite..hmm, I wonder if it was her saliva or maybe something on her teeth..

A venomous rat! I bet it is an infection. Like the bubonic plague, rats carry that.

In this day and age that is nothing to joke about. Our nation is going through a tough time, jokes like this will not be tolerated. I'm forwarding this to the FBI...

Rats in the US have not had any repots of the plague in years and years...I bred rats for a long time, have handle hundreds, maybe a few thousand in my time... allergic reactions to them-YES... but the plague-NOT!!!

Never heard of any. Say it was a female huh? (no hate mail please ladies) Im just josh'n. Dummy me tried to see if I could catch the hives by being bit by my girl's pet rat.(not on purpose though) I had just got done hand feeding one of her pet's with a piece of banana and when i went to open the other's cage I guess she thought i had some for her and she nailed me. Took couple of second's of tug of war until she realized I wasnt food. No hive's yet!
The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is....

....Tattooed people don't care if you're not tattooed.
