Nothing like a little change of pace to liven up a meal. Phil decided to have dinner at the "Branch Office" tonight. The house specialty was Rat Pup Tartare.

The Branch Office is a great place to hang around, and the meals are something you can really sink your teeth into!

It never fails. Right about the time you have your mouth full, the waiter comes by to see if everything is to your liking.

Every good meal needs a little chaser to finish it off!

One should always hang around for a little after dinner conversation. After all, it's rude to eat and run.

Bubba the Cat, however, is protesting that no one has bought HIM a rat!

I'm going to have to try some better lighting for the pictures. They're still turning out a bit too dark for my taste, but still having fun with them.

    a weird question...

Have you ever seen an arboreal eat? Now that's cool! The kinda wist around while wrapped on a branch.

    Sweet pics.

I have a cat that looks just like that. Except it has a white chest patch and weights 25 pounds.

Bubba is actually my 19 year old son's cat, though you'd be hard pressed to convince the cat of that. Everytime I sit in my desk chair, he figures I need him in my lap.

He's shown no interest at all in the python. For the first couple of days my wife had her bearded dragon, Bubba was fascinated by it, but not at all by the snake. Even when I have Phil out of the terrarium, Bubba barely affords him a second glance.

Not that I'll trust them alone together, mind you...

I know I don't need to fear my cats touching Monty. Heck, they fear him even. A couple months ago he took a new snaps at my cat, Tiger, and tried to eat her. It's a love hate relationship.

Our cat is fascinated by both our snake and the mice we raise to feed her....I wouldn't trust him at all!
