    new freshwater community tank

    i have 3 angel fish and want to add some more fish to have a nice community tank...its a 55 gallon tank does anyone have some ideas?

    corydoras, or synodontis, your angels are really only gonna be using the top half of the tank, so some nice looking bottom dwellers would look good in there. Just don't make the mistake of thinking they are a cleaning crew.

    Smaller community fish is about it. Whatever you do, don't get any barbs. They are fin nippers and loooooove angel fish!

    I do love having tetras with my angels (who were raised with them) but it depends on how aggressive they are. Bristle nose plecos are a favorite of mine too

    i like tetras 2 actually i was thinkin some red eye or black skirt tetra

    Man, you should get a knife fish, although they need a bigger tank.

    German Blue Rams wouldn't be a bad choice. Not the longest lifespan though.

    I second the corydoras and bristlenose pleco.I wouldn't get tetras as they are fin nippers too.well I guess it depends on the tetras and the number of their school.I have some black skirt tetras that have ruined my adult male convicts flowing fins.I hate them.
