New incubator and t-stat on the way!

Just ordered my new Natures Spirit incubator and a Herpstat 4 from Spyder Robotics. I feel like a kid waiting for Santa to come down the chimney now lol.

I looked at NS Incubators, but it seems they only have the $425 one. Wayyy out of my price range right now, lol.

It's always exciting to get new husbandry items, haha.

You can ask them if they will make a custom-sized one for a lower price.

The $425 model fits 12 clutches of 8 eggs, so thats quite alot.

Also to the OP: congrats! I cant wait to pick up my NS incubator in the summer, and the herpstat 4 was a great choice Ive heard only the best things about it. Well worth the money too.

Ya that's the only one they offer but I have heard NOTHING but great things about it so I decided to just go for it. I figured I could spend $150 on some crappy one that would probably break in a year (if it ever worked correctly to begin with) or I could just spend the money now and get the one I wanted that I know is quality. I was just going to buy the Herpstat Basic that they offer on their website to be shipped with it but then I got to thinking and I already have a Helix on my current rack and I plan on buying at least a hatchling rack in the next couple of weeks and probably another adult rack as well so I decided to just order the Herpstat 4 so that I could run multiple racks off that one t-stat and use the Helix that I currently have on the incubator. I'm freakin super stoked right now lol.

Thanks Matt! I'm really excited. I will only produce 1 clutch this year but I know next year I will be producing 3-4 and I am as firm believer in you get what you pay for and I'd rather have the peace of mind knowing that I have quality equipment and like you said, nothing but the best is ever spoken when talking about Herpstats!

Don, I just checked out your site. That mojave bumblebee male you have left that is for sale is stunning! Wish I had the money to buy him lol. But I need equipment more than new snakes right now so I have to be responsible lol. One day though, one day

Thank you. I do have him up for sale, but can just as easily fit him into my breeding plans. He is almost big enough to breed now. Anyway, let us know how your incubator does for you. I've looked at those, but decided to do the freezer build myself, because I needed more room.
