How long (in general terms) does it take for a bp to shed starting from the day you notice the eyes clouding. My snake's eyes clouded up, and now are nearly clear again. It has been a week since the first sign of cloudiness. Thanks..

    Shedding question.

Usually a week from the time the eyes clear.

Thanks sassa. I'm assuming his shed will begin today, in that case... How long does it take a healthy bp to shed his skin from the first crack? My kings all shed in less than 2 hours...

Exactly why I never had those bloody swear filters on in the first place, too buggy. I'll go take them off asap.

Ok here we go. My ball pythons hit fases in shed. First their get all greyish and nasty scales, then they start soaking, then their ees clear up, then they shed. Shedding is a big problem, I have always had to help Monty do it, but the babies shed fine. If you look in my caresheet, there a part about shedding, pretty descriptive.

Just an update... Peanut has begun his shed, nearly an hour and he's half-way down! These guys really get it done!
