    HEY! My Black Rat Snake ate today! Its been about a week since I got him I think. He was abit skeptic but he took down 2 pinkie mice!

    I simply wiggled it in front of him! *No worries of being bit look at him*

    The first three pictures have HORRIBLE quality






    These are the best 2 pics I believe! THe last being the better....it REAALLLY shows his true color good.




    I'm so relieved he ate finally! When he poops I'm gonna get a fecal done!

    What do ya think?

    O.O;; so he is a black rat snake...the one I found...o.o;; why isn't he black though

    Cause juvies aren't black. They have a pattern that is broken up to help them hide better. The black comes with age. They are very similar to Black Racers in that aspect.

    oooh..aww thats adorable <.< >.> in a way. Love the pic's Snakemann, and thank's for showing, I would've been ignorant for months. :-D

    Some of the adults carry the pattern also. Just not as vivid as the young

    I know you've only had him for a week (and yay its legal to keep them in PA - I was twitchy about that), but o.o;; any tips on keeping a rat snake?
