Talking New Additions: 1.1 Caramel Albinos!

Let it be known that the caramel gene was pretty well the reason I decided I wanted to start breeding, and have been one of my dream morphs for a while now. So when I went to Toronto to finally pick up the caramel female that I had been wanting and saving for from Markus Jayne, I caved and also picked up a caramel male at the same time. I have no self control

Grabbed some quick pics this morning before heading off to work. Going to take some more tomorrow when I fix up the cages nicer.

    Female:

    Male:

Both are almost the same size, the female sitting a little bigger at just shy of 1500g, the male I didn't weigh. This female was going to be the start of my quest for caramel glows, pastel caramel glows and potentially super pastel caramel glows starting next season, so the male caramel may end up being backup if my POG doesn't want to go this year, or I may pick up a female het caramel later down the road for him.

I love these guys, so happy

good eye you have and some damn good acquisitions. despite the potential kinking issues, caramels are still one of the best morphs out there, in my opinion of course.

Thanks! Caramel glows are one of my all time favorite combos, definitely go for it if you ask me. There aren't many people doing it either from what I've seen.

Thank you! I checked both these guys over, they're completely kink-free, and I took a look at some of Mark's other caramels while I was there (got a bit of a tour of the facility) and none of them were kinked either so hopefully the risk of kinked offspring will be minimal. I agree, despite the kinks they're one of the most beautiful morphs around.

Congrats...caramels are definitely one of the most beautiful morphs out there, IMO...I don't have any, don't necessarily want any, but love to look at them...
