    Hey I just got back from picking up a big female rat.........now just gotta get the male tomorrow at a different store Oh.......and be quiet My mommy doesn't know cause she HATES them

    I hid my uromastyx from my dad for a good 2 months. It was quite easy. He only found out when I started to carry my uro outside to get some sun. He was like "What is THAT thing?" heh, priceless moment. He still thinks I only paid $10 for it.

    It cost me $50 if you didn't know.

    ADVICE: It is not good to house the rats in that type of container, thier heat cycles are dependant on light cycles and the smell of the males urine. Also, I would not use a tupperware dish for water, rats do tip those over all the time, and wet bedding will cause respiratory problems and kill them also will harm the babies if any are produced at all.
