Motherly instinct?
So I bought some dubia roaches for my beardie, leos, and Ts and I've never used them before. When I was feeding my beardie last night and I dumped some roaches in, and there was an adult scurrying away with a baby in it's mouth. My question is, out of pure curiosity, was this a mother trying to save it's baby, or was it eating the baby? lol I felt so bad it got eaten right up with the baby, I had to ask!

Re: Motherly instinct?
Boy, I don't have a clue. But you have to wonder, mothers instincts are pretty strong. At least they went together, lol.

Yes it was a little black one, and it really looked like the adult was holding it in it's mouth. Those are awesome pictures though! It was very odd to see and I couldn't help but feel like it was trying to get away, for good reason I suppose because seconds later they were gobbled up by a "starving" beardie. I only say starving because you'd think I never feed that boy...he's a garbage disposal lol.
