    my newest bp

Hey guys I know its been a long while since I have been on here. Been busy working on getting my snakes back. But over the past week I have aquired two new ones... Sneaky the baby female normal

but I think this one should win BP picture of the month

I have also picked up a new and my first non BP reptile, the pet store had a it marked as a Red Hypo Red Tail Boa

I know this thing is not a normal boa, the pattern is very reduced and the belly is very orange which plays in with the rest of its coloring. but NONE of this shows up on the camera how ever I do have a video that I am uploading to youtube that you can some what see the orange on its belly. My problem with the morph is that I tried to search for Red Hypo Red Tail Columbian Boa on google. Nothing comes back, and the only hypos I see are sooo much lighter then this one, and I can't find anything that fits its discription at all. I have searched for red tail morphs boa morphs, nothing. I posted on Herp Center and no one can tell me. I did find a site like one though that may help it was redtailboa.net I believe... but anyways here are the pics of this thing, and don't let any beauty fool you this thing is mean, only 3.5 feet and has a temper of a rabid pit bull.

I like that picture of your BP browsing the forums, hehe.

I can't imagine that drawer "rack" you have there is secure... how did you manage to patch up the gaps that come on those? Do they hold heat/humidity?

Would need better pictures to tell for sure, but honestly, the boa just looks like a pretty normal BCI to me.

Good luck with your snakes and congrats.

Was the parents salmon? All salmons are hypos but not all hypos are salmon.
I have a hypo that dark but he is no salmon.

By the way nice looking snakes

The pet store got it from a guy that had it that didn't want it because it was aggressive and didn't have the time for it. They didn't ask, the guy just said it was a Red Hypo Red Tail Boa. I have found this link over on http://www.redtailboas.com/f18/post-...and-boa-23850/ look in at the second picture. The patterns almost look the same as mine in person but lighter. Mine is a lot dark and a lot more pinkish or orange.

Is it posible that I just have one screwed up snake that shouldn't exsist and thats why it is soooo mean?
