Skin color change
Ok this picture is huge, sorry, I am still learning how to re~size etc.
This is one of our rescues. She is a very healthy female. She was found a few months back in a bathtub. Animal Control was called, and the officer and I went out to retrieve (to our surprise) a large ball in good health. At this point no one has claimed her through ACO protocal and she has been our custody ever since. Anyhow big question. What is going on with her color? She was always very "bright" in coloration but now as you can see her brown saddles are turing a bright white. Why would that be.
I am horrible in genetics and the like with Morphs etc, and I am unsure if that is even what this would pertain too. But if anyone can shed any light that would be helpfull.
She is of great health, has no skin irritations or illness.

Please let me know what you guys think
Sincerely
Rusty

Re: Skin color change
I'm not sure if there's an exact name for it or anything, but it looks a lot like my bp's saddles. The sides of my bp are a golden color like usual, but her saddles are really yellow and stand out under light. Reminds me of gold foil like they put on motorcycles for paint job accents.
Either way, that's a real looker.

That's what it's called! Gold leaf. I was racking my brain trying to remember what they call it, lol. I watch enough chopper shows these days, you'd think I'd have remembered it easily. Must be the old age.

Wooo gold leaf! Can't wait to learn to do that at school next year
Rusty, I remember a thread over on Kingsnake a while ago with the same thing going on... I found this site, the pic of the snake at the very bottom before she changed looks kind of like what you have:

Other than that, I'm totally clueless... beautiful girl though!
