    Some weekend herping -Picture heavy

    Finally was able to get out and find some herps this past weekend in Big dalton


    Wester Fence Lizard looking all high and mighty


    Poor little California newt only had one eye

    Great photos! Looks like it was a very successful trip afield!

    BTW, I see two different snake species in that pic. There's the Racer, and something else down in the right edge of the photo next to the rock.

    Im not sure to be honest the 2 rattlesnakes in the picture were sitting right infront of a rock that went pretty deep into a hole. Either way was very exciting to find them so close to one another.
