Slower growing snakes?

I have noticed that my female albino ball pythons seem to grow slower than the rest of the snakes I have. They all eat regular and are fed the same size appropriate rats that my other snakes get. They are early 2010's and are around 700 grams. When compared to my other females that are the same age range and some are over 1000 grams. I am not worried about them I am just wondering if albino's grow slower and are there other morph's that tend to grow slower also. Thanks.

I think it just depends on the individual. i dont think there is any genetic reasons for the slower rate of growth in your albino

Are your early 2010 albino females related? I've noticed some families grow faster than others. It may be that your slow growing family just happens to be your albinos. I've only got one albino but she seems to be growing fine.

Yes, they are sisters. My Male is non related and has outgrown the females.

I have a pastel that is growing slower than my other girls. An early 10 at around 900 grams. My other 10's are 1000-1400.

i have a female albino and yellowbelly both born the same day. the yellow belly is 700g and the albino is 500g. its all depends on the individual snake. but i do notice albinos get more easily disturbed then other morphs.

I think it just varies from snake to snake. My biggest gap is between a spider girl and a dinker girl. Both were June 2010 babies, the spider is well over 1800g and the dinker is just at 900g. Both are great feeders, just one took off while the other didnt.

Yup. Growth rate varies between animals. Just like humans.
My Black Pastel is pig and growing like a weed. However, she's still about 100-200 grams smaller than her clutch mate sister.
